Festive Lighting – Mold Town Council

In 2015 we were awarded the contract to provide our Festive Lighting services to Mold Town Council. Mold’s installation comprises of traditional festoon lighting fitted with LED lamps suspended over streets and pedestrianised areas on catenary wires. There are also suspended displays fitted throughout the town, an eight metre Christmas tree adjacent to St Mary’s church, eight illuminated trees and twelve street lighting columns fitted with displays.
In addition to this we designed and installed the feature lighting for the Daniel Owen Square. We test and inspect all equipment to be installed, carry out an electrical inspection and test of supply equipment, inspect and test all catenary wires and anchor before installation work began. Once the equipment is installed we carry out further inspections and testing before coordinating the switch on with Mold’s Rotary Club members. After the festive period we remove the festoons and displays and store them in our storage unit.
“Members of the Town Council have asked that I write to you and express their thanks and gratitude for your help with the Christmas lighting in Mold this year. They are particularly grateful given the short notice you had when the Town Council awarded you the contract . They recognise how quickly and efficiently you have worked in erecting the lights and realise that there were a number of issues you had to address, particularly on the Daniel Owen Square. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your help over the last couple of weeks. The Lights Switch-On was a great success and the new lights on the Square look great.”
